A large Asset Manager wished to move from on-premises infrastructure using Charles River system, to a SaaS model. They aimed to reduce total cost of ownership and IT operational cost. The main challenge here was database migration, since SaaS supported SQL Server, whereas the on-premises Charles River system used Oracle.

Liqueo developed a Proof of Concept for the database migration using SQL Server migration assistant (SSMA). They also devised the overall strategy and migration approach. The overall migration was seamless, reducing the IT operational cost drastically and helping to scale up the business. It also helped reduce the cost and effort of the ongoing Charles River upgrades.

The Liqueo engagement continued throughout the implementation, providing technical expertise and knowledge of the SSMA tool, as well as training members of the client’s team.
